Dominika Stygar

Her scientific career stared in Department of Animal Physiology and Ecotoxicology of University of Silesia, where she obtained her PhD in biological sciences.

Currently, already as PhD hab. in medical sciences, she pursues her scientific passion in Chair and Department of Physiology of School of Medicine in Zabrze at Medical University of Silesia.

In the meantime, she completed the postgraduate studies in the field of dietetics and veterinary medicine.

Between getting new scientific titles and following it various awards and distinctions, she was involved in numerous international projects and internships, quickly changing the roles: from an assistant, through an organizer, finally taking a coordinator’s role.

She gained the experience in scientific writing while writing her publications, grants and projects proposals and while peer-reviewing publications for scientific journals, applications for European funds and supervising clinical trials.
